AInigma Quest

AInigma Quest is a text-based adventure game that's told by a mysterious bard known only as "Maze Master". Maze Master recalls adventures room-by-room, depicting your surroundings and what you can do in great detail.

Current Room: Entrance Chamber.
Room Description:
As you step into the entrance of the ancient dungeon, a chill runs down your spine. The air is thick with the scent of damp stone and forgotten secrets. Flickering torches cast dancing shadows on the weathered walls, their flames barely piercing the oppressive darkness that surrounds you.

Before you lies a cavernous chamber, its vaulted ceiling lost in the gloom above. Intricate carvings adorn the walls, depicting scenes of long-forgotten battles and mythical creatures. In the center of the room stands a weathered stone pedestal, upon which rests an ornate silver key, its surface etched with arcane symbols.

Three archways beckon you forward, each shrouded in mist and mystery. To your left, a passage descends into darkness, the faint sound of rushing water echoing from its depths. Straight ahead, a corridor stretches into the distance, lined with eerie statues of hooded figures. To your right, a...

Gameplay

Maze Master provides you with prescribed actions in order to progress the story. The actions might be anything from "Check Your Inventory" to "Explore the Endless Depths of The Treacherous Chasm".

Cast a spell to uncover any secrets - a cursor is displayed at the end, indicating the player typed this action.

No matter what you choose, Maze Master will continue the story by generating the next room where you have a new set of choices to make.

Current Room: Astrologer's Observatory
Room Description: As you stand in the Astrologer's Observatory, the air thick with arcane energy, you decide to tap into the magical essence permeating the room. You close your eyes, focusing your will, and begin to murmur words of power that seem to rise unbidden to your lips. The very air around you begins to shimmer and pulse with an otherworldly light.

As your incantation reaches its crescendo, a wave of energy ripples outward from your body. The brass orrery begins to spin of its own accord, its celestial bodies tracing intricate patterns in the air. The ancient tomes on nearby shelves flutter open, their pages turning rapidly as if caught in an invisible wind.
